Shutter Island is a hidden object game based on the recently launched movie with the same name, which revolves around the disappearance of a murderess from Ashecliffe. Your job is to help two marshals find the escaped murderess and also find other patients who have disappeared during a hurricane. Throughout the game, you will visit different parts of the island playing hidden object games in order to collect clues that lead you to the missing people.
The game is composed of different kinds of hidden object games. Sometimes, the items to find will be provided with shapes, and when you find them, they will be located in the toolbox to use them later in the scene, and even combine them to perform a certain task. On the contrary, in other scenes, you will be provided with a list of items in words, which is a bit more complicated. All the scenes are very well-created and the objects are perfectly camouflaged with the environment. Even so, they don't pose too much challenge. Besides, if you can't find an object, you can always resort to the hints, which are unlimited but take some time to recharge. What is more, the game also has a series of mini-games that are really enjoyable and help players find more clues or even secret areas on the island. Also, the game is full of dialogues between the two marshals that help you know what to do and also know the progress of your investigation. more
